New old tune...

Sounds excellent. Maybe the vox could come up just a bit. The guitar playing at the beginning sound very impressive, well also throughout but it stands out at the intro. I see what NY means about the distorted guitar's compression. However the contrasting clean guitar at about 2/3 through when the vocal's at "slowly slipping into desperation" sounds very live and dynamic. This is the second one I've heard that you've redone with the new pre and I'm noticing a big difference.

Some of you might have already heard this tune a while ago. But I'm re-doing my tunes one at a time with my new pre-amp. I kept the drum and bass tracks and re-did the guitars and vocals......

I already hear a few things in the mix that I must fix.Comments, suggestions, etc. are always appreciated.

The song should play right away, but if you want better than streaming quality, turn off the site-wide player in the bottom left hand corner and go to the music page to download. Thanx.

Stay away from Dogman whe he's carrying a bottle.

Rami - your tunes sound so good on your site - are they .wav files or high res MP3's ? The load quick though so I'm confused.

PS - Love that Dirty Water tune man......no wonder it's number 1!

Thanx man, Ido....They're MP3's, but they're at 320kps (or mbs or whatever)...The thing i'm not sure of is whether the site-wide player plays the high-quality MP3 or if that's just a 96kps stream. I did have to convert my tunes for streaming, so I wonder if that's what we're hearing...I'm confused too.

I hadn't heard it before the new pre but that sounds great.

I can hear what people are complaining about in terms of the distorted guitar sounding overcompressed and fuzzy but, in fact, I think that's part of what makes the guitar track so effective.

Someone else talked about the tricked-out vox. You thought they were talking about the scream but I think they mean right after it. It sounds like there is a phaser or something on the vocals. It sounds good though.

The drums sound superb.

I think I just managed to listen to all your songs. It just kept playing after the first one.

They all sound good. It's Good music. It's Great recording.

Thanx alot, Nave. Nice words.

Aaah...THAT vocal part. If that's what he was asking about, then that's just a 2 part harmony doubled (so 4 tracks), with flange. Just an Alesis micro-verb pre-set flange on that part. And then later in the tune, I added a delay to them so they're sort of answering each other.
