Listened to Lucky Soul. A bit too many timing issues for me. Voice I'll leave to taste, but it's pretty pitchy to my ears. Recording sounds OK, everything comes thru clear.

Listening to Mrs. Lucky now.
I like the dance beat, and your guitar and bass tones are pretty cool.

I'm not impressed by the vocals though. The vocalist sounds like he's having a lot of trouble finding the pitch, and he got a little buried in the mix sometimes.

On Heartbreak, the vocalist sounds more confident, which helps a lot.
The crash sounds pretty bad though.
Bass is still pretty cool. It probably wouldn't hurt if the bass had more "oomph," but that might just be my cheap headphones.

I am the vocalist. I have been taking lessons and I am trying to improve.

Most of the melody on Luck Soul is on the 3rd which is flatted in this case since most of the chords are minor.


I did track that vocal part after tracking the other song Heart Break loaded gun.
I really would like another Blue Stage 1 rocket to pair with the first 1 I have to use as another over head.

these are just demo's that we sent to the two producers we are talking to. I did check my pitch in melodyne and it is pretty spot on with the 3rd.

Perhaps I should drop the vocal melody on local "mr.s luck soul" to the roots?
