So Best Buy exchanged my crapped out $200 Altecs for $200 Klipsch's and they sound OK for $200 PC speakers, but I'm not sure how honest the sound is. So I posted a remix of a song "Nights In November" I have been working on for a possible demo to get a band together. If you've got a few minutes, have a listen. I redid some of the vocals and took various mix suggestions from a previous thread after I replaced those nerve-wrecking-crapping-out-no-tolerance-for-bass Altecs.

Also, does anyone have suggestions for a good drum machine or "soft" drums with which I can save tracks for future editing? I do all my drums on a Korg Triton keyboard, usually before any other instruments are recorded. But there is no way that I know of to save the data on it. And by the time the other tracks are recorded and mixed in, I usually hate the drums!

Anyway, the song...

And thanks!

sounds good SLuiCe... I really like the tune..

IMOP it sounds like it could use some low end... maybe the bass is too low, or maybe its a mix thing, not sure but it sounds good for the most part... I really like the tune so I'm a bit bias on the sound. Yeah as I'm listening again, it sounds like it needs more low end.......whatever that means..:D

This is a very good tune and dont listen to anything about the mix that I say...

Thanks Sabb. I just boosted everything from 160 to 640 Hz and, you were right, it sounds better to me.
