Hi guys,

This is the new metal track that I'm working on right now. Recorded using Schecter Demon with EMG 707, to Scarlett 2i2. Drums are programmed. Soon I will add vocals to this ;)

Can you please tell me if there is any issues with this mix? Balances? Frequencies? Any critique will be highly appreciated ;)

Tasty harmonies! The drums sound really good, too. You controlled the cymbals beautifully.

Can you explain the reasoning behind doing a full mix before adding vocals? I see this all the time, and I've never gotten it. Don't you have to redo basically half the mix to get vox to sit?

Anyway, arrangement seems good. There's definitely space for the vocals to occupy there.
Mix is very full already, so that'll be more work, but the tones all sound pretty good.

One nit that sticks out is that the tiny bit of guitar bleed in the left channel at the start sounds like noise. It's not loud enough to be identifiable as the guitar, but it's audible enough to be noticed. I'd automate it muted or way up for that passage.

Sounding good so far. Be interesting to hear vocals with this.
