Hey folks!
I'm a Pro drummer and I do online drum sessions!

I'm offering ONE free demo for whoever needs some(for a limited time)!
I specialize in Pop, Rock & Metal.
I film most sessions(some of the songs) for extra youtube exposure if desired.
I also program MIDI drum tracks for a discounted price.

Link to my site in my signature!

cheers

my name is Jesse - I'm a solo musician and a part of a trio with two gals (we're called Dirty Grace). I joined primarily to be a part of a community of people producing music at home, and to get some feedback on what the girls and I are creating together.

Thanks!

Welcome to HR! :)
Drop some tracks in the MP3 clinic if you want some feedback!

Just recently got involved on this forum due to a friend referring me here. This is definitely one of the more active music communities I've ever stumbled upon on. Glad to be here.

Welcome new dudes!
:)

Ask away or share your experiences of what's worked for you.
It's all good.

(p.s....so who brought the beer? )

Hi to All Home Recording Forum Mates! Basically I am a Singer, Songwriter and Music Composer.
I am always there to write and compose for anyone who is in music of course and I am always there
to seek anyone doing great mixing and balancing for my musical compositions.

We all here are to help each other and not to deny as we all are sailors of the same boat moving ahead to become a celebrity hopefully sometimes in the near future or may be not God know better."Always hope for the best but at the same time be prepared for the worst too".

Love To All Forum Mates!

Hellloooo everybody. I am besthellbunny and I am a super newb. I am 26 and have never been a musician with the exception of occasional dabbling on my grandmothers Lowery Organ when I was a kid and attempting to sing in the shower. A musician friend of mine is absolutely insistent on dragging me kicking and screaming into the music world...and insists on having me sing. I am here on this site to learn more about recording and also learn about other aspects of music since it is all so brand new to me. I am also here to try to get some objective opinions on what I am working with...so to speak...and also, to make some friends. Look forward to meeting you all and learning about this new world! :D

Hello all.I just joined this forum a couple of hours back. My name is Adeel and I enjoy making playing recording music. An issue has basically brought me here and I hope to find a solution to my problem with the advice of all you wonderful people. :)

Hey guys and gals. My name is Nate. I recently moved from Dallas to Sacramento and am rebuilding my home sound design studio... hope to get some good ideas/pointers around here!

michaelhigh here!

I'm Michael Hy (michaelhigh) Yaffe, from Belleville, Illinois, home of Jimmy Connors, Stag Beer and Uncle Tupelo. They used to open for my band Max Load, the first punk band from Belleville ever (late 70's). Before they were Wilco and Son Volt they were the Plebes (first) then The Primitives, then Uncle Tupelo, and finally Wilco and Son Volt (Jeff Tweedy and Jay Farrar, respectively). I hang out on lots of other forums, and just ordered a Tascam DP24. Excited to be reentering the home recording game after a long hiatus from songwriting and super jazzed to be going 24-track for the first time ever in home studio recording. Vintage audio is my forte but I'm also a multi-instrumentalist with a couple vinyl slabs to my credit, and Max Load's being reissued on BDR Records out of St. Louis, Missouri. Label is small, six vinyl-only releases counting us, and we only had a 45 out back then. This release will feature an LP's worth of tunes that are 30-some years old and have never seen the light of day. My blog features a bunch of stuff I dig and gives me a chance to exercise my writing bone. (I'll post the link after y'all are sick of me (in 10 posts)...See ya all in the forum!:guitar:

Welcome Michael!

So,.......Are you, or someone in your town, responsible for this guys post? LOL!

Just kidding man. Seriously, welcome to our home of squirrels.

I guess I'm relatively new. Registered from technical trouble a ways back. Hola.

I'm Keith Johnson, from Antioch Illinois. Friends know me as Keifer.

I have an extensive collection of vintage recording equipment, including wire and tape recorders (open reel, cassette, 8-track, oddball formats). Probably 300 or so machines. Plus a very good wife. ;)

I also have years of DJ and karaoke KJ experience. I don't consider myself a professional in any way, but I am picky about how I think music should sound. I have a few thousand dollars in DJ equipment, but I'm basically retired from that, so the equipment is set up in a mancave.

I was the "afternoon drive" guy at a low-power FM radio station for about 18 months a few years ago. It was no-pay, volunteer work, and the real world made it just too much to do every day on top of my real job.

I don't know how I could have missed this forum before - I've been reading the posts and have already learned a lot! My current aim is getting the analog stuff connected to my Mac and doing some home recording.

Thanks for tuning in!

Thanks, man. I wrote a couple lyrics today to get me started when the DP24 arrives shortly, and I've been reading up on it via the 14-page thread herein. More over there on how the machine works out. Reviews help sometimes but they serve more to point out potential bugs than to do much good. Opinions are like songs, everybody has one (at least one anyway!)! See ya 'round.

Hi there,

My names Dex and I'm from Sydney Australia! I'm very new to this recording music thang, but I've been playing the drums for around 12 years, I dabble in guitar and many other stringed instruments and I've been singing my entire life (not all that well, but singing nonetheless).

My first piece of gear that I bought was around 4 months ago (an M-Audio Profire 2626) out of a burning desire to record my drums. I knew that I'd be struggling for months before I'd be able to get anywhere but alas I finally have and I now own a great bunch of microphones (Sennheiser E602-II, 2x Sennheiser E604's, Shure SM57 and the all important Rode NT1A for general vocal work).

I still have a fair ways to go before I get any where of use but I'm committed and I know that I have the geniuses here to help me. Cheers for the space.

- Dex

P.S My lava lamp is arriving shortly :thumbs up:

I don't know where my lamp went :(

I can't remember what box it was in. Oh well. It was a mediocre lamp anyway. :D
