Hello all,

I'm Mike, I've been playing guitar as a hobby for a long time. Luckily I realized in my twenties I was a much better mechanic than a guitar player - but I still love to play. I've been wanting to learn how to make a decent recording and mix on a DAW.

This looks like a good place...

Hello everybody
I am new on this site. I have been using Logic Express 9 to record my band in the basement with one usb microphone onto my macbook pro and editing the files. I am looking for any advice on how to do it better.

Hello everybody,
my name is Nimrod and I'm a singer - songwriter and I like to be considered as a pianist as well.
I've been playing piano for 12 years and been composing for 5 years.
I always had a big interest in music production and only recently after recording myself, decided to really get into it and learn it.
When I usually get such an interest, I usually dive deep and won't let go. Hopefully I will learn a lot from everybody here.
I'm still at the beginning, building my home recording studio. Hopefully it will turn out to be a success in my terms:)

Hi everyoneee! Nice to meet ya'll, so i'm breathing my dream at the moment the only thing i haven't yet done is .. live it. Where shall i post to get some honest feedback as to whether or not i can sing ._. haha i sing and song write :)

Hello! I´m a regular guy trying to get better at recording and mixing. I´m not new to recording, but new to doing it myself. Still experimenting with mic placement on guitars, drums and bass. I´m a diy-guy and make amps, guitars, effects and pickups myself; however no where near as good as proper gear :D

I have been in here a few times, but I thought it was about time to register and become a part of this huge knowledge database that is all the users in here :D

Hey all! My name is Greg. I am fairly new to playing a guitar and signing. However, I have started building a studio and buying equipment for recording. I am also interested in doing some podcasting. Looking forward to meeting new people and learning new things...

Hi. I'm Arda, from Turkey. I have a band; Gwathrenlind. We're doing symphonic metal. Because of limited butget, I'm here and I hope, this site and everybody in here can help us =)

I'm using MacBookPro and MacBoookAir. IN few months, I will buy a MacPro. Logic Pro and EastWest's soundbanks are my favourite programs. If anyone need help about using these, I can help I hope.

Hello everyone. I'm Doorstep(Doorstep Rebellion). I'm just starting out in the home recording thing. (None of you will care, but previously I called myself Ozone until I realised that was taken :P). I'm intro punk rock, electronic, and screamo(as in real screamo, not post hardcore). Nice mix eh? My equipment consists of a Gateway SX2808-01 PC, A Behringer Xenyx mixer, three electric guitars, Keyboard/midicontroller(some old radioshack thing that is surprisingly decent), Acid Music Studio 8, Hydrogen Drum Program, Linux Multimedia Studio, and Audacity. (Possibly getting a microkorg soon) I judge my music to much and throw away most of what I make. Probably due to my OCDness :P Anyhow I'm looking forward to making some new tracks, and possibly having you all listen to them :)

Howdy! I'm James from Australia. I play guitar and sing in a hard rock band called Battleaxe. I'm getting myself setup to record demos and pre production at home to help save time in the studio when we record our album. This site is awesome!

Hello to one and all. I'm a new kid on the block and hopefully some of you wizards will be able to help me in this often confusing world of music production and recording.
Looking forward to sharing what knowledge I have and gleaning even more from you all.
Have A Great Day! :)

Hello there! My name is Mickey. I'm a little new to audio engineering, but I hope that by communicating through forums, I'll get the hang of home recording and create near CD quality mixed songs.

New guy....long time musician, horribly inept home recorder. Payed guitar for 30 years, live in Alaska. Not in a band now but would like to get into playing live again. I write a few tunes here and there and Im a gear whore bigtime and have too many amps, guitars and gadgets.

You all are idiots for registering to this site!!!!!!

LOL! I'm just kidding. Welcome friends. :D

Jimmy

Hey everyone.
