:D LOL :D , Thanks, jason2422

At first, it depends on your BUDGET. :(

If you want to hook up the MPC, you'll want to get a soundcard with 8 INPUTS, since your MPC has 8 OUTPUTS.

Now, with the Triton, it depends on where you place it in your setup/chain. ;)

Post us with some more info ....

peace....

oooohh, I forgot about the programs ....

Sonar

Vegas Video

Logic Audio

Cubase

or if you have a LOT of loot, you could get ProTools with a MAC OS computer. (but .... you will be spending some CASH).

... as i see it, all you need is a recording program like cooledit pro and a big fukker soundcard, since you can sync up the two units you allready got.. both of them have sequencers, samplers and rom synths, so all you have to do is to decide which unit you want to run as slave and which one you wanna have at master..

appreciate the help

thanks for the help. well i have some money to spend but not trying to break the bank. right now i have a gateway pentium II computer. from what i have read i am going to have to upgrade the soundcard, add a midi interface and the purchase some software. i guess my question is if any one of the manf programs is suggested or better than the other and the -/+'s of them. since i have the mpc am i going to need 8 inputs/outputs. hope that i dont sound stupid but if im going to spend my $ i wont to spend it right the first time and purchase no more/less than whats needed. so i do appreciate all of the comments

peace

You should do some searches and reading of the older post at this site.

There is a ton of info here at HR.com. So, again, look around here a bit.

Then ask us some questions. We won't let you down. :D

personally i suggest a www.Hoontech.com dsp24 soundcard.. can be expanded to 40 inputs. and is probably the best valued soundcard out there..

You could also consider getting a mixer.. that's what i did.. then i only needed one input on the soundcard..

jusballin, again, I ask you how much money are you willing to spend? :)
