Whats up everyone!
Well, I've been djing since I was 15 (24 now). I started off being a scratch/battle dj with the inspirations from the invisible skratch pickles, dj craze and so on. I've also done many house parties during my high school years. Within the past couple years, I've been doing more of the bar scene here in chicago. I'll play anywhere from top 40 to 80's rock, to old school hip hop.
Now I thought I'd step my game up and want to produce/remix some tracks. I know very little about terminology and know very little about equipment.
I've been doing some research, and I think (unless noted otherwise) I want to go along with this setup:
M-audio Axiom 25
Ableton Live
More importantly, I want to find a software that won't scare me off the whole idea of producing some tracks. Any insight is appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
