Thanks to you all for listening, and for your opinions.

comes in very loud, a little bit raw(too much high freqs for my tastes)
Nice width to the track. I cant hear too much depth though.
The vox sounds like an instument in the sense that it does not really stand out from the music.
I wanted to hear more kick.
I like the percussion sounds and the panning automation or effects you had in there.
Yeah.. I noticed the high freq's when I listened to it in my Dynaudios, but on my Tannoys it's not a bit harsh...
The lack of depth is the sound I wanted... kind of an effect..
You're right about the kick.. it could use some presence at least..

Great job with the drum programming! Maybe the snare sound in the main sequence could change over time to make it more interesting. Maybe automating the reverb, using a slight envelope filter or something.
This could be a good idea.. I'll try it when I mix down all the loops to one solid drumtrack.
As you've already pointed out the vocals need some attention, I feel the melody could probably be more inventive over this hypnotic chord sequence.
Vox will definitely get more attention.
I like the way the hihat moves around all over the place but it's to upfront and harsh for my taste. Just to check my ears I pulled out 'Boards of Canada's "Kid for today", my favorite example of electro 'soundscaping'. I found that they have a great amount of trebly sounds but they aren't as harsh as yours. It's like your sound with a thin curtain covering the high frequencies. X) [What?]
ok.. I guess I really must look into this...
I really like the part from 0:46-0:57, I think this part has great musical depth and (in my opinion) a seldom seen happy marriage between a acoustic guitar and electro drums.

Thanks
It feels like a notepad of really good ideas but put together in a somewhat haphazard way, the arrangement could easily be changed to make it feel like a SONG though.
This is also what it is...

I loved it...especially the breaks. The canned drums are probably called for in this track, but I'd go for a canned sound that wasn't as cheezy...electromagnatize the sound of that snare...something different...if its even just some 'on-beat slapbacks'...whatever...ya get the drift...and....the songs too friggin short.....
Thanks man.. How do I electromagnetize?

Awesome tune, wished it was longer though. I agree that those hats are panned excellently, I was thinking that maybe when you say "...the end-end-end...." on like the second line, some kind of doppler would be cool, kind of small idea. The vocals are really nice sounding on the whole, nice depeche feel. I don't see any problems with the canned drums, I think they got their point across. It maight jsut be me but it seems as though the acoustic kinda falls off every now and then, which kinda weakens the pace, again may just be me and these cheepo 'phones. Overall I really like this mesh, any plans for adding to it time-wise, I think it's worth it.
I might add 30 secs at the end...
The vox are very processed, mainly because I don't like my voice...

Pretty cool. I guess this is one of those short tunes. I liked it. The sorrow in the voice was cool too. More vox, more sorrow.
More vox coming right up, sir.
