As a short movie, I liked it a lot, and the music was really good & tight.
As a music video, the lead-in seemed a bit long-ish at 4+ minutes, but I understand the need for it to set up the protagonist's dilemma.
I'm only a film student in the didactic sense but, unless the lead-in ambiance music was a part of the song, I would have tried to tighten up the intro to around 1-minute long (or there abouts) by doing shorter montages of his evening out the night before.
The only reason I would have kept it shorter in the beginning is because of the increasingly short attention span so many have when surfing the 'net.
Like I said, it works great as a short film/music video, and the cinematography was very well done (loved the black & white), and the song was really good (I dig that kind of stuff).
Take this all with a big grain of salt, as it is just one opinion.
But I liked it a lot!
