Hey, so my old recording set up got pretty trashed in a flood so I bought some new stuff. This all feels real foreign to me right now so i'm sure this will take some getting used to. This is a clip of a song i started on today and was just looking for some advice. All comments are welcome as always and i'm always down for colabs or what not.

The songs called "it's over" up at

having no gear i had no way to listen at all recently but i'll try and make that up over the next few days and put some reviews in

take care guys

Nice guitar tone man....cool song as usual....well put together. Has a great vibe. No real mix comments here, as I dig it. I think the main vocal could use something as it stands out a bit, but since this is still early, I assumed you'd give it a bit of treatment eventually.

But, excellent start man...

Dude, nice intro sound and once this gets going, this seriously rocks! Awesome riffing :D
Maybe there's a tad bit too much high end on the vox during the verse and I agree with Dogman... sticks out a bit in the chorus.
Cool heavy guitar in the chorus too.
This mix is aggresive and loud, very fitting for the song. Yeah, I dig this. Your mixes always sound real good to me.
I think you could definitely extend this if you want, maybe run that riff some more with some heavy wah wah solo over the top. Just an idea.
Good stuff man, good luck with your new gear!

Quite good. the stuff mentioned by my esteemed K( types is accurate too.
I think the vocals could do with a little dropping - they're very out front in pop song mode.
Good work with new gear. Hope you've recovered from flooding & that insurance ponied up for the goods.

hey thanks ed, snake and rayc for the comments. I agree after listening on other speakers on the vocals for sure. This really helps a ton in getting used to the new stuff. Can't thank you guys enough

take care
