New Download And Mix Contest

Hey everyone I have some tracks from a band I recorded that has agreed for a contest.the tracks are all wav format I can only multitrack 2 channels for the time being there is a kick track and the rest of the kit on another track.this is going to be a short contest.Judges will be members of the band I am going to call the deadline on feb 6th I might add some more time then but that is it for now.however the vocalist has asked me to have you guys do a special effect on his vocals he wants like a digital sound I used chorus on my mix..Let me know if everything is ok the link is http://www.lightningmp3.com/upload/missinginmaryland.rar alright have it..Oh and I did use overheads which are already panned left to right sorry for leaving that one out

Soooooo......no stereo overheads, huh? Sorry, man - I think a lot of people will sit this one out because of that. Is there any way you can retrack the drums and get stereo overheads? (That's kinda important in modern mixing/production/whateveryouwannacallit.....)

actually the over heads are already panned at 75 left and 75 right I recorded with my whole mic kit which was 7 mics

I still have some issues w/ the bass poppin here and there...and the drum track definitly has some clipping in it.
What a challenge trying to get something decent out of two and only two drum tracks!!! Let me know what ya think. :p

yea there is man..I had like 20 mintutes to get it ready cause the drummer had to go to work but you did pretty good man the only thing I would really have do diff was but some heavier compression on the bass and and brought the guitars out a bit more...overhead great mix man

wow you never stop surprising me I love you work..the only thing I didn't care for is the effect on the voice but everything else is great

You said something about him wanting a "digital effect" - That was what I was going for. Do you have an example from a commercial cd of the effect he is wanting?
 
Shit, once again I cannot import the files... I'm suspecting the fileres are in 32 bit.
 
Alright - I tried to mimic the effect from that sample - it sort of half assed worked. I don't have a lot of experience with auto-tune . :(
