S8-N,

I've played this song a few more times, and it has grown on me.

Would like to upgrade my critique to awesome. You guys play your asses off!!

The vocals went through a RNC compressor (which rocks) about the only tweaking I do is a low end shelf cut starting at the low-mids and a tiny bit of delay. I didnt use any reverb anywhere on this song because I havent found a reverb sound that I like using the Vegas audio plug-ins.
GT: Thanks for the kind words.
I didnt double the gultar parts correctly for any wide stereo panning. That riff I am playing is so cluttered that I didnt think I could double it and get it tight enough...

uh.. S8-N.. Tip of the day for you is to check out: http://www.mp3.com/r3v0lv3r

It's a good friend of mine who does the vocals. He got the job by picking up the phone one sunday. Three Germans was on their way to Stockholm to record at Sunlight (Tomas Skogsberg, producer of Entombed et c) and needed a vocalist without an outrageous german accent, and they'd heard some music my friend had sone before and gave him a call.. this is what it resulted in...

Liked it. Great bass and drums. Tight band. Couldn't make out the lyrics, which was frustrating because I really wanted to. Can you enunciate while you growl? How about a little boost at about 5K and maybe some high shelf boost to get the vocals out of the slime? Good shit though, just remember, you are powerless over .......

Maybe it's because you haven't assualted my eardrums in awhile, but I think this mix is the best yet. Yeah, really -I had to put on my headphones because it was making my baby girl cry. Good work man.

Made my cats cry for sure. I was convinced they thought they were about to be taken down to the river in a sack and drowned.

Man, you guys do this style of music better than most bands around. Those screams are great. I feel dirty and grimey after listening to this song... it's like I've been through an ordeal after listening to it, and that's great. Getting that much across in a recording is way cool. Good one.
