NEW delta 66+1010LT+Cubase problem...i know

hey,
just upgraded everything(aka spent money) i now have a delta 66 and 1010LT and everything works great EXCEPT during playback using the 66's 1\2 as monitors after about a minute or so, the audio quality just goes to the toilet...it first gets realllllly clipped then just degrades to nothing. If i switch the monitors to the 1010LT 1\2 everything works fine. So now you ask "Why dont you just use the 1010's 1\2 to monitor??" well this is because the 1010 monitors for some reason are only comin in mono.

Any suggestions for either of those two problems? thanks in advanced for all of your responses

I'd check the following:

1) make sure you have current drivers from M-Audio. When I bought my 66, the drivers on the CD were way outta date;

2) make sure any competing processes are shut off, like virus scanners, firewalls, device monitors, etc. Basically you wanna clean out your system tray, and check for other performance tweaks you can do;

3) Play with your latency - increasing the value may give you better results;

4) Could be a hardware problem. Hope not...
