If your software just lets you select a time signature, you would need to select 12/8 to get it to display the right subdivisions of notes.

Ah, I see that for each beat, it is subdivided into 8 parts. In order to program the triplets corectly, it would need to be subdivided evenly into 6 parts per beat. Can you control that in the software? You're right, with the way it is now you could not program triplets.

Yeah, I can control it and change things around. I ahve it like this so I can get the BPM faster as the maximum is 200 for this software so when I have it like this it brings it to 240 BPM (I think). I have the BPM set to 120 and with it like this:

Number of Measure in this pattern: 1
Number of beats per measure: 16
Number of steps per beat: 8

I get 240 BPM if I am correct. I can change it to anything I want but not sure if I change it not will the drum be out of time with the song.

At least I knwo with the way I ahve it programed I can NOT do what your talking about. I was going insane trying to figure it out...LOL

It sounds like what you're doing is setting the tempo at 120, but treating 32nd notes like 16th notes, thus making it seem like 240 bpm. I would think that if you don't change the number of beats per measure, but just change the number of steps per beat for those slower parts, it shouldn't effect the tempo. Can you set the steps per beat for individual measures without affecting the rest of them?

Honestly, I am not sure how to do this but I am going to go onto the forums for Beatcraft and see if it can be done.

Thanks again for all the help/info!!!

I do not think I can set the steps per beat for individual measures without affecting the rest of them but I could seperate them into two seperate pattern, I am not sure if this would get the desired effect.

Great work!

For me that ride section/break near the start is a little loud. It does it only once.
Overall I'd lower the HH though - it's a bit loud compared to the snare.

I have two songs I have been working on. I posted them before and made a good deal a tweaks from what people suggested. I also tweaked the guitars a bit. So below is two different songs with two different mixes. I would love to know what mix you guys like better.

Song 1 Guitar tweak # 1:

Song 1 Guitar tweak # 2:

Song 2 Guitar tweak # 1:

Song 2 Guitar tweak # 2:

I think I like the "Tweak #2" for each song but would love any and all comments, good or bad. Thank you.

Hi ....I haven't had a listen yet, but you may want to put these in a new thread, so those who listened to the previous ones, will realize these are tweaked ones they have not listened to yet. Just a thought. :)

Lol! I got lost trying to read the posts about the drum samples being off and listening to the horrible drum samples and them being off!

I love the genre, but would suggest less is more on the snare and hi-hat. The rolls are great, but what happened to a heavy on-beat? If it were live, I think we would have a Spinal Tap moment and explode a drummer!

I love it, though! Completely insane!

Thats the whole point. Extreme metal is called "EXTREME" for a reason. Go check out Derek Roddy on youtube.
Good stuff bloodsoaked. \m/
