Lapdance Test Dummy
Ok, some of you may remember my struggle a few months ago with my K6-200 piece of crap. Since then I decided to build my own. In the meantime, the K6 became disabled. Since it still had 2 years on the warranty(i bought it 2 years ago) I sent it in to CompUSA. After about six weeks of them trying everything, they decided to give me a new computer, which is a 500mhz Celeron with a 10gig UltraDMA hard drive. Im gonna slap on another hard drive for Windows 95, use the 10gig for recording, beg the wife for the Direct Pro and Ill be in business for the second Homerecording.comp CD.

Man that's a good deal, most warranty's are nowhere near that. Since your shopping for another hard drive, consider getting a 7200RPM Quantum KX for recording and use the 10GB that came with it for the OS and maybe as another backup/archive (just in case) of files on your recording drive.
