RHCP is from Souther California. Kiedis was born in Michigan, Slovack was born in Israel and Flea was born in Australia. They formed in Cali.
 
his singing is awful. only good on the albums..

i think "gong li", the californication b side...was one of the better tunes of their new sound..

and, keidis's vocals sound awesome on it

I got a take of Under The Bridge and Scar Tissue live, and the singing is idd Awful, not worthy a band like the Peppers.

But hey, ppl can change, and maybe he learned a lot and they didn't have to use to much autotune on By the Way:)

I don't want to be hard: The Peppers are one of my favorite bands. Maybe it's just because of that that I am disapointed that By The Way is not as good as it cn get.

Wes, I definatly agree with you...

Gong Li should have been put on Clifornication instead of some of the other crap that was one there.

Porceline could have easily been replaced with Gong Li...

I just think they've turned too commercial...

I haven't heard gong li. Im kinda glad they put porcelin on. That song saved my life in an audition, It was for a spot in a show our song that we auditioned with before wasn't appropiate enough material (still dont understand that) so we didn't know any other songs then, and we had reauditions the next night so we got out cd's listened heard it learned it that night, and played it and got in.

The cool thing about that song is you can play it w/ 2 people the drummer can do the guitar and vocals while the bass player does bass and back up vox.

My theory with kiedis is during show's he gets stoned before, and puts so much energy into the show part of the show that he can't do the musical part as well
