New Challenge Idea

Dan, Like the other challenges, it should not be a competetion. I'm actually nott so much focused on the sonic quality side of things, as just getting to hear different styles and approaches coming together, or even just new people communicating to each other. Whatever, there's probably a hundred good reasons to do it I guess. But while I think everyone should aim for the best sound they can get with what they got (the very spirit of this web site, IMO), the focus should be on the music itself. But everyone will have good reasons of their own to enjoy it.

OK, I understand what your idea is. But how do we do this random drawing? Use Khomp's code? :)
 
Didn't bother to read the whole thread, but the idea sounds very good, put me on that list too.

Oh Al, now you've done it. I'll be rigging this challenge for sure now. :) Start writing. I'll just take out that last useless 8th note for ya. :)
 
How about starting a "Sign up" thread to draw in the folks who haven't read this one.

Keep it on page 1 for a week or so and have someone impartial :rolleyes: draw the names.

Short straw gets that tone deaf renegade alter ego Crawdood guy :D
 
I reckon we should decide on whether or not this is gonna be open to everyone or not, because frankly, whoever goes with me is an unlucky bastard lol
