I am not impressed. I would take Rolands synth deal over that. He advertised the piano sound a for a split second, then all it was it shit nylon/electric sounds over some strings.

What if Enzo Ferrari took that kind of view I doubt if he cut into much of Henry Ford's sales though. I've only played a couple Godin's and didn't care for them the quality looks lower that a decent Asian guitar to me. I'd take a Carvin over a Godin.
Thanks for the link Apl, I played it for my wife. What a historical event it was the first time in 35 years she ever told me I should get a new guitar.
Did any one find a price for that yet? I'm hoping for something like $1500 to $2000 for the guitar alone.

The Roland GK-20 with a pickup is about $600 so you could probably get the synth alone for around $400. Also the 13 pin cable will run probably another $50.

In that demo were he is playing Imagine he has to have the strings sequenced. I'm not familar with hardware sequencers but it doesn't look like the unit at the above link has that capability. So I suppose you need a laptop with software or a hardware sequencer also.
Perhaps the more expensive Roland guitar synth has it onboard.
