Love teles. I got two now. One GnL and one Fender they're fantastic guitars. They are very versatile, you can play almost any genre with that baby.

My buddy bought it for his kid to learn guitar, but he doesn't play it so I got to hang on to it for now...

The more I play this thing the bigger the come-along that is gonna be required to remove it from my apt.

I always hated the shape.

The only reason I even played one was because my friend was trying out amps at GC for a good 2 hours. .....I got bored.

Since this is a thread about Teles........

I have never played one with a rosewood fretboard. All the guitars I have played though with rosewood fretboards played fairly easy. But my Tele has a maple fretboard and makes me work at technique, which in the end is a good thing.

How does that thing play, drstawl?

It plays like a dream. Feels great for rhythm or lead.

Oh yes! He was the one. I've had four tele's in the past year's...three tele deluxe's (the one's with the two humbuckers/strat style neck) and a 73 maple neck. I would sell my mother for them all back Nice lookin' tele there doc.
