need Sonar 4 help....

hey....just bought a sonar 4 producer edition...what kind of special effects does it have....does it have a special compressor in it???? I heard that the new sonar 5 has it....just was wondering what kind of things do the sonar 4 has to offer....

I'm not sure what "special compressor" you're talking about...

You said you just bought it. Why don't you just check it out for yourself?

The only effects that Sonar 5 has over Sonar 4 are basically the Roland V-Vocal pitch correction software, and PerfectSpace convolution reverb.

Sonar 4 has lots of effects, are you talking about the studio or producer edition?

Sonar 4 producer has the Sonitus suite, which contains both a compressor and a multi-band compressor. I think there's also a more generic Cakewalk compressor, though I haven't used it myself.
