Im in need of some help of a semi major purchase.
I want to record voice only and get a professional sound.
Ive been looking into cards for a while and i was gonna get the
Audiophile 2496 which people on this site and elsewhere have pointed me to.
I just learned of the USB audiophile and other USB cards and id rather purchase one of these than the regular version just on the fact its portable and i dont have to install into my machine.Now the dilemma,im not sure whether or not i should purchase one of two cards
the
M-audio Duo
or
M-audio Audiophile USB
they both seem very good and ive read about some problems with the duo but im sure i can work around that if need be which would be abetter choice do you think?
The Duo has built in mic pre amps which is good cuz im running large diaphragm condenser mic AKG C2000B but i already have a preamp for it.
Can any of you help me out and give me some insight?
