Are you talking about standalone or laptop/PC settup ?
And whats really buggin me is where your doing this over there.
Seems like you would be watching over your shoulder every minute.
I cant even visualize it.

Yeah you watch over your should every minute when I'm rolling off the FOB which is all the time since I am infantry but I do get alot of downtime on the FOB which is guarded heavly with 50 cals if they penetrate into the FOB we got probs only thing you worry about here on the FOB is mortars and rockets. What is a standalone?i Do you think a laptop/pc setup would be easier?

Well, if you use a standalone (portable digital recorder) your only talking one unit but a laptop settup would generally require an additional hardware interface to get it in to the laptop. The standalone will be limited in terms of editing but provide a descent recording.

Now these standalones you can make beats on them or they just for recording? i was looking at some online looks like something you can add to your production if you had a studio ya know? Which would make it rough for me to bring it back to the states rather than a laptop.

Now a additional hardware interface would be a keyboard or motif correct? and with a standalone you could edit with a laptop correct?Sorry for all these questions i am trying to learn what everything is! It seems a laptop setup would be best what would go into a laptop setup to do some nice production?

Hey thanks for the help everyone
