Need some helpful criticism on this complex mix i did....

Well it was for a competition and since i wont really win it (rank 180th lol) i would appreciate any advice on how i can improve this complex mix. Its got so many different instruments so it was a real challenge on mixing and mastering it.....Since its youtube so its not quite good quality but still in stereo.

List of instruments:
1) Piano
2) drums
3) Synth Lead
3) Synth Bass
4) Normal Bass
5) Strings and Pizzicato
6) Marimba
7) Pad
8) Acoustic Guitar

And various other FX....note: the vocals have no effects on em except the ones it was recorded with (by linkin park) - so i think its got a bit of autotune to it...

I'm not so good at offering mix advice for remixes. It's not really my thing. It sounded like Linkin Park to me. It sounded ok by itself. I never heard the original, so I'm not sure what you did to the song.

Nor me I only did this remix out of desparation really but now i understand it was a mistake because i went out in the open and hence got destroyed because the current leader is ahead of 10000s of votes.
The original song is on youtube. Just type in Linkin the catalyst and it should come up.
