Need some help

[Milestone]

I just bought a mixer and a new mic, and recently started recording, after I record it still sounds like my vocals are higher then the beat, so I'll try to compress and eq my vocals, but it's not coming out right...What should I be doing in order to get my vocals and beats to match up a little better?

Either turn your beats up or turn your vocals down.
