For Acoustic guitar and voice.

I know it's better to seperate them when recording for mixing. It just dont feel the same though. I rather just record it all at once. Like sing and play my guitar at the same time....it's just more natural and comfortable.

Is there a way I can record the vocals and guitar at the same time but mix seperately ???

What does everyone else do for this.

It's all about mic selection and placement. When I record myself singing/playing at the same time, I use a dynamic mic for my vocals to help cut down on bleed.

It's not my favorite way to record...I do it mainly for making practice tracks for the band. Make sure the guitar mic(s) are aimed at the guitar but away from the singer. Do the same for the vocal mic (I aim the mic up towards my mouth so it rejects a lot of the guitar sound). Both mics will have some bleed, but you can get a decent mix this way.

I'm assuming that you're recording into some kind of multitrack system? As long as the guitar and vox are on different tracks, you can mix them separately. But, it's up to your mic placement how "separate" they will be.
