I currently have:

Focusrite ISA One digital, M-Audio 2626, and an Eleven Rack.

I've just bought a Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56 and I'm thinking now is the time to properly get my gear set up in terms of clocks and possibly using the 2626 to double my available inputs, the Saffire will be my main unit. The 2626 is almost unsupported now, hence the upgrade.

Both the 2626 and Liquid Saffire are firewire.

I'll also be moving from pro tools to logic Pro X, I'm on a 2013 mac pro.

More experienced tech guys , over to you please...

I likely won't be the one helping since I have zero experience with any of the equipment listed (and I'm using Sonar in Windows)... but as a general rule asking specific questions will trigger the best answers. I don't even see a general question in your post. ;)

The Focusrite ISA is a preamp, probalby leave tha taside unless you really want to use its mic preamp - in which case you woudl take the audio ouput from tha tinto a line in on the Saffire (or Eleven Rack).
Will the Eleven Rack work with Logic? Probably, but its set up for PT. Guess you could take its main ouputs to inputs on the Saffire, but not sure why you'd want to, when it already has built-in digital output.

There are dozens of ways to connect those devices. That would be a matter of your specific needs.

In general it's considered best to use an ADC's internal clock when possible. Practical considerations sometimes dictate otherwise.

The 2626 would have to act like a preamp/ADC to work as an expander. The analog inputs would have to route to its optical outputs. I don't know if it does that by default or if it relies on software, like a DAW or a driver, to make that routing happen.
