Need some basic Finale 2007 help.

I'm using Finale 2007, I have my keyboard hooked up to the computer via usb.

So I have the midi working, it more or less records what I play through my piano. Is there a way to make it so it records it more accurately. Like. I think there's a way to make it so you set what the fastest beat can be. Like I can set it to a 16th, that way it will round all the quicker notes off or something???

Also, is there a way to make it so there are two stalves(sp?) and it records it to look like actual piano sheet music. With treble and bass.

Yes to both problems. However, I havent usd Finale in several years so I cant tell you exactly where to look, but you can adjust the smallest note value easily. You could set the smallest note to a quarter, eighth, sixteenth, 32nd etc.

For it to be on treble/bass, you need to go to "new" and follow directions. Simply pick a piano preset, I am sure its easy.

I use Sibelius BTW.
