Need Note Displaying Software for a PC

I am looking for software that will allow me to connect my guitar directly to the soundcard on my PC using a 1/4" to 1/8" jack adapter and will display the notes and chords on a staff in real-time as they are played. I want the program to also save what I am playing so that I will be able to print out the finished piece as sheet music. NoteSmart can do exactly what I am looking for but unfortunately it is only for MIDI equipped instruments. Any suggestions?
 
You may have to get one of those Roland midi guitar converter things. Don't know if that would work with chord notation?
