I´m ready for a multi pattern mic. Any suggestions?
I already have following cardoide condensers:
Neumann TLM103
Rode NTK
2x AKG C2000B
2x old Philips small diaphragm
all of them very good sounding mics
I guess I need something truly versatile and “omni” at this point. Having already some excellent vocal mics, main use for my upcoming acquisition will probably be instrumental.
Other question; Since I usually record instruments stereo; would two “omni” mics for stereo recording make sence? (Or perhaps the new large diaphragm stereo mic by Studio Projects? (Is that multi patern?))
BTW my budget would be up to $1000
Thanks,
Jan
