Hi, i was wondering if there are any websites (or any kind people on this forum) that would have the raw seperate tracks to a song/piece that they would be willing to share.

I'm looking to do some mixing practice, as i've only ever mixed my tunes in the past (plus, i dont have the equipment to record professional sounding tracks....and it would be an absolute dream to work with some really well recorded instruments!!!!!
All types/genres/styles of music will be happily accepted....

And of course, i wont give the tracks to anyone else, and i definately wont use them to make money in any way.....i'm just a newbie looking for some experience. PM me if you have any tracks, and i'll send you my email.

Thanks heaps if you can help :)

I will see if I can dig you up something. It may not be the greatest, but I can guarantee it will be challenging !!! ;)

If I send you something, do you mind sharing with me your method of mixing the tracks?

I am slow too...so patience comes in handy.

Sounds good. Yep i will most definately tell you what i did to the mix, and send it back to you.
Thanks

Time to get into midi!!! you can google midi, and find bzillions of midi songs. They play in media player by default , but you can right click save as , and you now have a file( extension = .mid) you can import into a DAW. You usually have to go through some gyrations in order to get the channels seperated, but then YOU chose the sounds using the vstI ( virtual studio technology instrument)!!

Take some time to learn and make MIDI your friend! :)
