Hi. My name is Gene Sumter, I'm a producer from New Haven (Dash Sound Productions). I have several artist with songs. I'm looking for a mix engineer with skills willing to work on my projects on a spec basis. The songs are Pop, Hip Hop, R&B and some Electronic (DNB, Trip Hop).
The benefits for now (since no money is involved) is a chance to build your own portfolio with original high quality songs and to form a strong relationship with my production company which will hopefully prove to be fruitful in future days.
I currently record my artists in cubase, so you'd have to have cubase and or a program that could load cubase files (unless of course we just used raw wav data which might be hard and time consuming to configure).
