My home studio has been very busy with clients for a year and a half. I have always been a strong advocate of Sending the final mix to a mastering house (usually in Nashville) however lately some clients have not been 100% pleased with the results. None of the masters have really been that bad but they really have not done anything magical to the final mix either. I realize mastering houses are not miracle workers. I just feel that my clients might be happier if I could do "Real" mastering in-house. Bottom line… I want to get my own mastering software. Please advise of soft/hardware that will do the job for a reasonable investment.
Thank you
K
