I'm a 17 year old and I want to get started producing music and making beats. Mostly Hip- Hop. I dont have anything at the moment. So any ifo i get would be helping.I would like to know of any recomended hardware and/or software that would work well for this purpose. I've worked with some software before like FL and ACID Pro. But I want a mix of hardware and software. I also do have somewhat of a limited budget ( looking to spend about 500 but could go up to at most 1000). All of this would be done in my room at home so space is also kind of limited. I plan on learing about this in college by takin Music Theory and Comp. as a minor and Business Management as a major. ( I'm looking to be on more of the managing side of production when I get older). So any info you could could supply me with would be much appreciated. Thanks in Advance.
PS: I've been looking at the Akai MPD24 and the Korg padKONTROL and a Yamaha MIDI Keyboard. Any info on these three would help. And if I should buy them. And I'm really not looking to record vocals. So no need for mic's.
