Need Help With Interface And Mic Choices Please!

hey guys im new iv posted before but id like to clear things up properly!..

I Am currently using a Samson C01U USB Mic to record (rap) vocals.

Im Thinking Of Getting A Non-Usb Mic...What Will Be My Best Choice ? (Shipping is expensive so i cant get like $200 mics :/ )...i was thinking of an AT2025 / 2035 / 2050 / 3035 which 1 would be best for me ?

for my interface i will be getting a lexicon alpha desktop USB(2.0) interface...im sure its fine enough i only need to plug in my MIC and Headphones thats all (i want 24 bit also )

i just want a descent microphone with an interface...AS LONG AS IT DOES MUCH BETTER THAN THE SAMSON C01U USB...

For Rap you may not want a LDC you may be just as well off using a Shure SM 58.

haha tbh i just love the looks....i mean would any of those LCD's or whatever be good enough to be better than that annoying USB mic ?...like the AT2050 can be switch'd to like omni and just forward and stuff like that..

EDIT: i just saw that mic...fuck that haha i dont like dynamics...sorry for the offensive language :L

Ok so how much are you trying to spend? zzsounds.com has free shipping on orders $99 and up.

Any of those mics will be better then the USB mic. Look at the MXL LDC's and never count out dynamic mics. You may get better sound out of those depending on the room situation.

If your going to get a LDC try to find one with a decent shock mount.

and also....DONT record in a closet. just a FYI.

i live in new zealand so i doubt its free shipping but i can only go to about $200 nz dollars ...which is about $140 us dollars...and my room is fine for recording it sounds good and its quiet..also i seen an at2020 for like $80 , at2035 for $108 comes with stand and cables , at2050 comes with shockmount ($150) and an at3035 comes with shockmount ($140)
