Need help with Comfortably Numb

I don't knwo about tabs or anything, but when I am trying to learn a new song, I hardly ever sit in front of the tape deck with the guitar in my lap any more. I listen to the song alot and I try to play it later away from the CD/mp3/whatever. I learn the songs better feel-wise, if I learn them that way.

I listen to the song - ALOT. I will maybe ONLY listen to that one song depending on how important it is for me to learn it quickly. If I listen to the radio, or a different CD, it completely hinders my ability to learn the new material. I'm just rain man. I know it's weird to tell a guy to learn a song, listen to only that one song and no others until you can play it. I have to absorb stuff through osmosis.

See, I didn't even say "Back in the day, they never had tabs and we had to learn songs the hard way..."

thanks for the advice, infact i have tabbed out a solo by ear, with help from my teacher, its in another thread. but i cant learn a song without a guitar, and i wish i had a tape deck so i can rewind easily. but im using my brothers laptop, on my bed, guitar in hand, dong on laptop and tabs on screen.

I have those tabs but I realised that theye arent very accurate. Im learning the album version from The Wall.
Thanks Alot :) :)
Chords seem to be correct. I don't have guitar here but I can tell you about something wrong in second verse.
It looks like it begins from A. That's wrong. You should stay at Bm a little longer and continue to A just like the first verse. (Verses start from Bm and end at same spot)
I can't tell you anything about that solo tab. I hate tabs like those and I recommend you to use your ears instead.
By the way, GREAT SONG!
Would you record it and let us hear how far have you got?
Good luck

ill do my best and record it with my camera. ill start the verses, i am totally not understanding the solo tab.
EDIT: Damn, I just cant play today, I'm messing everything up, from my rythm exercise, to solos. I'll try tomorrow.

There's a good Wall Tab book out there. Like all such books it has a few mistakes, but by and large is pretty thorough and accurate. Might want to look into that. For a few bucks, it might save you some trouble and time.
