Need help, please! Pop-Song/Ballad

Hey guys,

I'm currently trying to mix a pop-song by an artist I know quite well. So far, there are no lead vocals because we haven't recorded them, yet. I know, it's always strange tu judge a song when a part is still missing. However, I just wanted to make sure that there are no crucial mixing mistakes in there (e.g. to be muddy, an instrument sounds bad etc.). Please help me to identify those mistakes in that tune...you know, I just want to improve my mixing abilities. So, basically anything would help!

generally, you need to give lots of feedback to others in the clinic here first before people will do the same for you. When it comes to a pop mix where the vocalist is the 'star' it doesn't make sense to mix all the backing stuff first, it's all going to have to be redone in relation to the vocals.

My experience when listening...

Percussion/drums are good.
Acoustic guitar could come up a bit.
Piano is good.

I like the music. Beautiful!
Cant wait to hear what you have in mind regard vocals.
