hi,

I just re-wired my guitar according to this schematics:
http://www.guitarnuts.com/wiring/mikerichardson.html

I doubled checked every single connection, grounding, etc. So I think my soldering's just as on the picture,
I've got only noise coming out on certain positions, and on other positions, the sound coming out's just not what it is supposed to be (not the PU combination indicated on the drawings).

If some of you could take a look at the schematics on this page and tell me if something's wrong in it?
First I think the switch portion of the push-pull pot is inverted on the schematics, because soldered as shown, I get a bigger volume with the switch in the low position, whereas it should be when the switch is actually pulled up (series combination).

another strange thing on the schema is all the wires connected to other wires. I was told in school not to draw wires connecting to other wires, but wires connecting on resistor's or cap's poles... so from that picture, I don't know where to actually do the connection.

If you guys could take a look at it and help me out, .... I'm desperate.

hey there

Its sounds like you have some leads going to the pickups backwards or wired wrong. Goto www.dimarzio.com --> pickups ---> wiring diagrams ... they'rre easier to look at that the one you have. You should also have your capacitors grounded to your pots.
