Ok, so I'm gonna get started in recording on my comp. but I need a mixer or pre-amp to go into my revolution 7.1's input. I was maybe thinking a Behringer Eurorack UB1204-PRO Mixer , but really don't know much. Any other mixers in the $100-$150 price range that would be decent. I was thinking mixer because then I could down the road do some drums, but would it be better just to get a pre-amp for now? Anyway, should I get a pre-amp or mixer (for the most part doing guitar/vocals stuff, as I said maybe add drums/bass later) and which pre/mixer would you reccomend?

thanks,
Kent

Ok, so I'm still open to suggestions, not set on the behringer by any means, looking at the soundcraft folio now too. Along with specific ones to check out, what are features that are a must, or nice to have? what's the difference b'twn a regular mixer and a digital mixer, I don't need a digital one to go to my comp do I?

thanks,
Kent
