I read the post about the CD-RW drives how only Cdplayers and portable cd players can only read CD-R cd's ..i was wondering is it possible to change the CD-RW cd into a cd that a CD player can read? My cd player wont read CD-rw cd's.

Never had a problem? CD-RW (rewritable) or CD-R (recordable) but at the price of cd-r media these days it's not hardly worth it to shell out for CD-RW any way. I pick them up for around $0.50 a peice.

If you've got the CD-RW, then just use your favourite burning program to make a copy of it onto a regular CD-R. Not too tricky.

some old cd players wont even play cdrs....if this is the case..its time to buy a new cd player
