ggun - Don'cha think I'd do that if I had the means? Recording in a headphones-only environment, I use a PodX3 so I'm ampless. Otherwise, I'd be making some nasty feedback for the tune I'm working on. Thanks..

if you put the headphones next to the pickup you can actually get some pretty gnarly squeals.

Have you looked at sampleswap.org? they have samples of just about anything that makes noise (or so it seems).
