that cat was just featured on the discovery channel's "time warp" show. pretty interesting stuff going on there. i looked on the discovery website to see if they had the episode up so i could link it, but unfortunately not.

i actually watched that yesterday haha. that was some sweet footage. i've seen cymbals on a high speed, but drum heads on a high speed camera look absolutely NUTS.

no kidding, like water ripples. absolutely insane. the cymbals were cool to see, but i wasn't really surprised--it seems obvious that they'd flex like that. really cool show; i'd never seen it before, but the subject matter was of particular interest.

i for one love seeing any high speed camera footage. it's amazing how exaggerated and surreal all this motion really is, though it happens too quick for our eyes to notice it, there's some seriously crazy footage of different stuff taken with high speed cameras. one thing that's cool to see is the sonic boom from a bullet leaving the barrel of a gun, or a semi-auto cycling through its action. sweet looking stuff.

ooooooooooohhhh i can most definitely deal with some jeff beck (i'm a guitar player too), and colaiuta is an animal. good link rimshot! thanks much =]

Herbie Hancock always pwns, and always plays with musicians that do the same.
