Chriss - I'm wondering if Waldorf Attack software version would sound better with RME or Lucid converters rather then, the hardware rack?

hmm.. i don't think that's an ussue with the usual 24 bit/96kHz dacs.. prolly gonna be just as good, but also dependable on the computer and what bitrate the computer software is running...
i'm not gonna use up all my cpu power on 24 voices with effects and shit like that.. 'dats why i'm getting the hardware rack..

Attack software version sounds great. Nothing wrong with that thing. I use it along with some other drum programs, sounds, modules etc. but it sgot some good shit on it.
