Hey all! I just completely upgraded to G4/ProTools system ;) and have just started getting into recording or re-recording old demos. My question to you. I don't have any access to a drum machine, and my keyboard (Yamaha P80) doesn't have any drum onboard sounds either. what is my first step toward drumtopia? Should I plunk down the money and get a drum machine, module and go midi, etc...what are my options? Thanks.

Sorry....didn't mean to make you feel that way. If it's any consolation, C7sus is one great chord, although I must admit Cm6 does it for me1 ;)

fruity loops has a good drum machine thingy piece of software that has some sweet samples, and you can try it out free for sometime and it only costs a little to register it.

Or you could go on ebay and get that dr-5 going for $100 now

but wait, hoooold up. how exactly do you play cm6.
I know that you flatten the three, but what is the six. Do you just add a 6 ie A note.

CyanJaguar: Yup. It's nice if you add that sus back in there too. Great chord!
