Orange/Strange/Re..Arrange...Purple/Turtle/Puddle

man...if i found myself trying to rhyme with orange or purple, i would rehash the whole verse and get another word to rhyme with. i have found myself in simular dilimas with rhyming on hard words like that and usually had to redo the whole verse to move on and finish the song. if i hold onto what i got and beat my head against the wall to come up with a hard rhyme like that...i will usually figure something out, but, the verse will sound corny and i will end up changing the whole thing anyway.

Never write a lyric with "orange" or "purple". Try "golden" and "lavender". I'm almost afraid to ask what you're writing about.

for a purple nurple
get down baby
orange an purple

Unless it has to be phonetically perfect, I don't see why you can't rhyme;

purple - swiral, girl, whirl, furrow, burrow.. the last two are stretching it a bit.

Orange - Thorn, Corn, Born, Sworn, Storm.

It was a dark dark day, some might say purple,
It started to rain, and I had to pick up my girl.

My ford tempo refused to start, what an orange.
And then it started raining, man what a storm!

What is the context of "orange/purple"...What are the precideing and following lines to the verse?

Don

"baby" rhymes with everything...hehehe

orange-porridge,sewage,forage
purple- steve erkul, hurtful, shirt-full, surpl.......us

are you writing a song about rainbows?
or the state of my toilet on a sunday morning?

That Nashville guy said
"Roses ard red and violets are purple
Sugar is sweet and so is maple surple"

Or...Go indy style and don't rhyme. Broaden those horizions boys.
