Need a Mixer?

When purchasing gear, look beyond the present, to the needs you may foresee in the future.

In my opinion, yes, a mixer can be very useful, but no, you don't need it.

Nah. You can always get an external pre - no problem there. But you MIGHT want to route the singal from the computer through external effects, compressors and the like. And you might get a hardware synth some day too. Also, it's a pretty neat way to hook up your tapedeck, cd, and so on
