ok, I am doing a cross country project and I am about to go loony toons!
I am running Cubase SX & Cool Edit Pro, my brother in Arizona is running CEP.
So, I record the tracks in SX, then import them one at a time to CEP. he works on it, and I will put the track in SX or CEP, depending on my mood swing (actually I am clueless about the envelope filters in SX).
So, say the bass player fudges a note, I have him touch it up...then I glue it, export that track by soloing it and doing a mixdown. Then I try to put that file into CEP along with the untouched files and it is 'time shifted'...almost like it is cutting off the first .250 seconds or so. WHY IS IT DOING THIS! Please help!!!!
