Cool...it totally reminded me of playing Defender there in the middle somewhere.

I think it sounds great and wouldn't possibly know where to begin suggesting anything you could improve. I will check this out periodically and expect to hear something new each time as I do with most all of your tracks. Thanks.

thanks Pete...dunno what i can do with this...maybe drop the guitar bit at the beginning

anyhoo, happy tune next...this one and the last one is depressing ;)

Yo... I'm glad I checked HR instead of going to bed. I'll regret it tomorrow, but hey... I'll sleep when I'm dead. Keith, impressive dub-step stuff, dude! I love the snare sound, and the kick is nice and punchy. I just got me a new set of HD-650 headphones, and they're gettin' broke-in finally. Your stuff sounds awesome through em'. They almost make my Rokits sound mushy, which is kind of scaring me. Anyway...

Another great Keith-esque masterpiece of electronica! Great to hear you writing again, man. Sure it's not trance, but it's still awesome. You inspire me to keep working on understanding the "electronic" workflow... Now I've just gotta quit playing my drums long enough to actually learn something.

Yow - I second the need to tame the snare, K. When an element gets in the way and you have to listen "around it" to hear the other stuff ... but though you may try, it's keep butting in the conversation -- then it's probably too dominant. It takes up all the air in the room. Other than that, very interesting piece.

J, you da man :D

thanks for listening, all the time...glad it doesnt sound like a piece of meandering junk...theyre all just fleshed out sketches in the end arent they?

i love making this stuff....I dont know when Ill get bored of it, Im sure theres loads more to learn

dammit, Id already toned it down lol

maybe its the sample more than the volume, I think its pretty cutting without much body...I might fuck about with it more

glad nothing else is jumping out...it was a bit muddy to begin with and the kick sucked the life out of it

thanks for listening man and the comments...look forward to hearing your new one when I can be arsed getting out of bed ;)

Cool - sounds good. Real good use of panning and stereo spread. Some movement and ping-ponging without over-doing it. Cool on earbuds. Tonal balance is pleasing.

No real criticisms, but maybe a suggestion. The low end is held together mostly with the kick. Maybe try a baseline throughout?

yeah Trip, dunno why it ended up like that....the droning synth at the beginning was the bass but kinda ended up as a bit part

I prolly wont change it now as I hate it after mixing it for two days lol, but next one has a nice bass all the way through it..promise :D

thanks for taking the time to listen man, enjoyed your tune too...get more up :)

The bad language warning has me afraid to play it here at work...will definetly check this one out when I get home!

LOUD was my 1st impression.
Then dark
Then interesting
then yeah
the cool
You do this stuff rather well & I actually listen to it now as opposed to bypassing, channel changing etc.
Def LOUD!

what you mean, you used to skip through my other tunes!

:D

Yeah it is loud...they seem to get louder each one, I need to keep that in check...Im having my own personal loudness war lol

glad you enjoyed it Ray...Im liking it better now Ive been away from it for a few days

KC, I bypassed any electronica until Yours arrived. Habit wrecker! Taste changer!

I love it...sounds killer on my headphones ..like the comment that it reminded listener (Heatmiser) of playing defender :D ,that 2:00 mark is really cool...not the usual kind of music I listen to, but this kept me engaged , I like the sounds you get!

Hey thanks man....Im still finding the beat boring but as no one else has mentioned it I guess Ill just leave it

A guy I know in the business says I make stuff for soundtracks/backing music...not really what I was aiming for but I can see his point...glad you enjoyed it and the mix didnt bring up anything untoward :drunk:

I like it very much. I have no idea how one would go about putting such a tune together, but I like the overall tone and approach.

Nice work, Mr. Earl.
