Naiant MSH-1C on a snare?

Does anyone have any samples of just a snare drum being played with this mic? I'm really digging how the Naiant mics sound, they're so articulate...So I might get some MSH-10s for overheads and give 'em a try for vocals...But I need snare mics too!

Not to hijack but I've heard good things on them as oh's but yea, I'd like to know if the spl from a snare is too much for these little gems. Also, anyone using them as tom mics?

Don't think of it as a hijack...just a bump that's not so gratuitous

I'm sure it'll do fine, if your pre has the overhead. I use them on my toms, no problem.

It says on the website that they're intended for snare and toms, so give it a whirl.

its also the snare mic for the drum mic package naiant sells. so yeah, no reason to not give it a shot.
