First off, what kind of cable do you plug into these things, it says that the plug is built in, but I need to run cable. 2nd, how are the drum mics that are configured for bass drum? Has anyone used the MSH-4 tube mic? On vocals? And finally, does anyone prefer the sdc omnis over Oktava MC012 (I have a pair of these)? Thanks a lot, and sorry about the multi-question post.

Standard XLR cable.

Sorry, can't answer any of the other questions as I've never tried the other MSH mics except the MSH-1.

I like them over the Oktava's... but that's just me.

I like the oktavas more but I like the naiant very much too. There's plenty of room for both in my cabinet. If you are on a strict budget, naiant is your baby, no contest.

Jon also has plenty of samples using his mics. I have 2 of the MSH-1's. I've used them as overheads and on acoustic guitar. Good sound. Can't beat em for the money.

OK, so now do I get 10% off my next pruchase?
